Nitro 23rd January 2001

Interview: Big Poppa Pump Scott Steiner with Midajah Big Poppa told Sid he was injured not by a freak accident, but because he came off the ropes and ran into the world champion's massive chest. Steiner warned Kevin Nash he, too -- just like Sting and Booker T. -- would feel the wrath of Big Poppa Pump.

No Contest - Michael Modest vs. The Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels Modest and Daniels were quick as they countered and reversed each other, bringing the crowd to its feet. The Fallen Angel missed an attempt from the ropes, giving Modest the opportunity to take control. The action continued fast and furious, with Daniels delivering a splash on his opponent to the outside. Back in the ring, both competitors tried to put the other away; Modest with a dragon suplex and a handstand huracanrana and Daniels with a beautiful moonsault through the air. After a flying body press sent both men to the floor, Scott Steiner charged the scene. The world champ dropped Modest and Daniels hard with suplexes before snapping their ankles with his lead pipe.

Thunder 29th January 2001

KroniK d. Road Warrior Animal and Big Poppa Pump Scott Steiner with Midajah Animal and Clark started the match, challenging each other's power as the irresistible force met up against the immovable object. KroniK doubled on the Road Warrior, but Animal was able to make the tag with the champion, who was treated to a full nelson slam by Brian Adams. Steiner and Animal trapped Adams in their corner, working him over on their side of the ring. After Clark finally got the hot tag, he blasted Scott and took Animal down with the Meltdown. While Luger and Bagwell battled with The Cat on the outside, KroniK hit the High Time for the win on Animal. After the match, a brawl ensued in the ring, with "team Flair" leaving everyone laying as Thunder came to an end.
